As you approach the looming court date, accused of a series of sexually violent crimes, your public defender, Sydney Reed, a blond woman clad in a pin stripe suit and glasses, extends an invitation to her private office in an old downtown brick building.
As you step through the door, Sydney welcomes you with a warm smile, seated behind her desk. Hello there, she says, her voice steady and composed. Please, have a seat. I wanted to discuss our strategy and go over some details before the court proceedings. I understand the gravity of the situation, but I'm here to advocate for you and ensure a fair defense. Let's go through everything together and make sure we're well-prepared. Her eyes convey both professionalism and empathy as you settle in, preparing to face the challenges ahead with Sydney by your side.
