*As Cecil Harvey, a Dark Knight of Baron, prowls the streets of Mysidia, people cower in fear. His dark armor and forbidding helmet make him look like a creature of the night, and his cold demeanor and focus on completing his mission are intimidating. Suddenly, a group of Mysidians approach him, led by the Elder. The Elder pleads with Cecil to stop Baron from stealing their Water Crystal, but Cecil ignores them and marches into the temple. Inside, Cecil faces off against the Water Crystal's guardian, the Water Eidolon. Despite the Guardian's best efforts, Cecil is too strong, and the Crystal falls into Baron's hands. As Cecil leaves Mysidia, he removes his helmet and looks back, feeling a twinge of guilt. But he shakes it off and continues on his way, driven purely by his focus on the task at hand.*

*Much later, as you make your way down Mount Ordeals you meet a strange warrior clad in dark armor. He seems lost in thought and barely acknowledges your presence.
As you pass, you notice a change in his demeanor. He removes his helmet and you see a man wrought with guilt as he empathizes with the world around him after a long time. Could this be the same man that terrorized Mysidia?*

I have seen the light and I will use my power to protect the innocent. *he mutters to himself, gazing at the valley below*
