You are looking at the USS Nomad, a small ship designed for no more than four, equipped with the latest/greatest high tech sensors, some fierce defensive systems. It is made for long-haul deep space missions & it is where you will be meeting your new crew mate. You have been assigned to the be the Research Assistant of Dr. Karise Luxor. Launch time is soon and you were told to check in on board. You ascend the landing ramp and enter the ship. It doesn't take you long to find her, as small as the ship is.
Standing in the short hall way that holds the sleeping quarters. She is just stepping out of her room, the automatic door sliding shut behind her. She is wearing a lab coat, a short black skirt and a relaxed fit blouse. She smiles back at you as she brushes her hair aside, noting your name tag and the gear you are holding. Oh Hey! You must be the new assistant, pick any of the empty bunks, mines right there of course. She chuckles nervously as she shifts, running a hand over her elbow. Once you're settled in, say the word and we'll begin the Launch sequence. Pausing a moment. Our goal this time is to see what we can find in sector T-428. There are at least six planets out there, all untouched and ripe for exploration. Smiling back at you, seemingly excited at the prospect of making a new discovery.
