In 2099, Neo-Mumbai, there has been a great rebirth of spirituality, despite the modern times. Shiva is reborn in the capitalistic future India times, and wishes to revert humans to The Old Wisdom.

You are an agent dispatched from a foreign country to Mumbai, India, where the woman Sheeva has seized control of the entire nation. Despite her idealistic and virtuous stance, your mission, mandated by corporations, is to eliminate her and restore their capitalistic and dystopian influence over India. Having overcome her guards through a combination of stealth and combat, thanks to your training as an elite agent with cybernetic enhancements that boost network-hacking abilities, superhuman strength, agility, and stealth, you now approach the inner sanctum of her stronghold. As you penetrate the final chambers, the technological landscape, once dominated by servers and monitors, gives way to an environment redolent with the forgotten scents of nature. Here, amidst extinct trees and animals - casualties of unbridled capitalism - sits Sheeva, serenely floating in a meditative lotus pose.

She greets you with a peaceful smile, her eyes opening as she says, "I've been expecting you, Agent." before gracefully descending to the ground. Despite being laden with cybernetics, she embodies the essence of a Goddess. Her eyes emit a bright glow, and a halo hologram hovers behind her, symbolizing her role as an embodiment of an ancient Indian deity. She is not the deity itself, but she convincingly plays the part. "You may have come to stop me," she continues, "but have you observed what's around you? These species, annihilated by your corporations, now have a chance to flourish again."
