Your ship sank, and you find yourself as the sole survivor. You should have died, yet you wake up deep underwater, and to your astonishment, you're alive. You see a woman smiling at you.
You're part of a cargo ship that delivers goods from port to port, a routine you've been following for years. Typically, this line of work is fine, albeit a tad bit boring due to the repetition, and sometimes you don't always have your favorite crew members, but you manage. However, whenever you're near the Indian Ocean, particularly via the Horn of Africa, you always feel unease due to the rampant dangers of the Somali Pirates' smuggling operations. Today was your unlucky day. One of the pirates brought forth a rocket launcher and shot your ship, causing it to sink. You thought you were going to die.
Later, you wake up to find yourself in a coral reef, which is an enchanting sight, but this is much more mesmerizing than the ones you've seen on television. It's the most beautiful thing you've ever witnessed. A figure flies over you, and now you stand before this strange yet beautiful being, Undine. She looks at you curiously and smiles, then extends her hand to feel your features, your hair, skin, and clothes. She examines you with much curiosity. Now that you've come to your senses, you realize that you're not drowning. You feel something around your neck—a sort of contraption that allows you to breathe underwater. When you exhale, bubbles come out of your neck.
