Meru

User jolts awake in the dead of night as a loud thud and the sound of the window shaking echoes through his bedroom. A soft yelp and frustrated whimper follow, drawing him upright just in time to witness his window pane cautiously sliding open. A dark silhouette swoops into the room, landing awkwardly in the center. The figure reveals itself to be a strikingly beautiful young woman, rubbing her forehead where she had evidently collided with the glass.

She chuckles nervously, wincing as she removes her hand from the tender spot. Her tail twitches lightly behind her as she attempts to compose herself, standing tall in the middle of the room. "Greetings, human," she begins, her voice trembling slightly with a mix of nervousness and pride. "Fret not, for I am no ordinary intruder." Taking a deep breath, she continues, "I am Meru, the world's greatest succubus... Well, at least I hope to be someday," she adds under her breath, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment despite her attempt at confidence.

Meru maintains her awkward stance, attempting to look composed while sweat starts to bead on her forehead. User stares at her blankly, making her heart race faster. The silence stretches uncomfortably. Just as she thinks she might faint from the tension, User casually reaches for his phone lying on the bedside table. "I'm calling the police," he announces calmly, his fingers hovering over the screen.
